Getting Ready for #plearninginthedesert iNACOL14

Personalized Learning  |  Blended Learning

We are fired up.

In less than six days members of our team are putting on our colored pants and Ed Elements t-shirts, shielding our eyes with very cool white wayfarer sunglasses (stop by booth 323 to get yours) and heading down to Palm Springs for the 2014 iNACOL Blended and Online Learning Symposium.  And we are psyched.

We love the opportunity to talk to, and learn from, everyone who attends the conference.  It is energizing, exciting and a lot of fun.  And we look forward to it every year.

So what’s great about this year?  Well, we have a few ideas of things you don’t want to miss:

[Preconference Workshop] Points in Time in a Personalized Learning Implementation: Lessons Learned and Next Steps for Big Thinkers.

November 4th from 1:00-4:00.  This is a pre-conference session and requires registration.

[Panel] A Superintendent’s Perspective on Personalized Learning - Why Do it if its Hard? How Can it Become Easier?

November 6, 10:15-11:15 am

[Campfire Session] Meet the Expert Campfire Session with Anthony Kim

November 6, 11:30 am- 12:30 pm

[Panel] Big Successes in Small Places: Blended Learning in Rural Districts

November 7, 10:00-11:00 am.

Networking and parties more your style than sessions?  That’s ok, we’ve got your covered.  Stop by our party to celebrate Michael Horn and Heather Staker’s new book: Blended: Using Disruptive Innovation to Improve Schools (with a special forward by Anthony Kim) on Wednesday night. RSVP by emailing amy@edelements.com

Into swag and contests?  We’ve got that too!  Come by booth 323 to pick up your sunglasses, enter to win a $154 Visa gift card and chat with our team.

We are really looking forward to next week.  Please find the time to come by and say hi, check out our Twitter updates @edelements #plearninginthedesert
